Writing the Literature Review

Definition:

A literature review presents the published literature on the thesis subject and/or area of study. The literature review allows the author to introduce current findings, issues, and areas of focus to assist the reader in understanding why the thesis and subsequent research are important to the field of study it is being presented in.
