The MBU Archives is the university repository for historical records of enduring value. The archives preserves and makes accessible these records for scholarly use. Record types include paper documents, photographs, electronic communications, objects, and media. These historical records provide insight into past events from MBU's founding, such as:
1957: creation as an extension of Hannibal-LaGrange College called Tower Grove Baptist Church in midtown St. Louis
1964: charter to form Missouri Baptist College
1967: groundbreaking at its current site
1973: first graduating class
2002: transition to Missouri Baptist University
The archives also collects materials currently produced by the university, such as campus announcements, newsletters, and other publications.
