Boolean Operators

Boolean operators connect search terms to narrow or broaden results.

Use AND to narrow. Results must include both terms. Ex. "young adult literature" AND "secondary education"

Use OR to broaden. Either search term can be present in the results. Ex. "young adult literature" OR adolescent

Use NOT to exclude. Ex. "young adult literature" NOT university

Finding Journals & Articles

Journal Finders contains access to over 41,000 titles and allows you to locate individual journals if you are looking for a specific journal, magazine, or newspaper, or an article citation.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows you to borrow or otherwise acquire materials not held by the Jung-Kellogg Library or MOBIUS from other libraries. Please contact the Interlibrary Loan Clerk if you are unable to locate the material you need.

Google Scholar enables you to search Google specifically for scholarly literature.
